Cignpost Diagnostics offers bespoke solutions to the sports Industry to ensure the safety of players, critical support staff and supporters. This helped sports events and tournaments take place during the pandemic. We specialised in creating COVID-19 secure environments that minimise the risk of transmission.
This was done by deploying one of our mobile COVID-19 PCR testing laboratory to a sports event, reducing the resulting time of a test down to just 90 minutes. PCR tests are the gold standard in testing technology meaning a negative result is a reliable indication that a person is not currently infected.
Our COVID-19 screening services made it possible for the DP World Tour to get back on the course, using one of our mobile testing laboratories which can be deployed to test up to 1,000 people a day.
We started working with the DP World Tour in Summer 2020, the world was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. All sport had been at a halt for 4 months and elite sports organisations were considering how they could return to competition safely.
