Cignpost Diagnostics Has Supported The DP World Tour In 21 Countries

In the world of sport, the pandemic posed a significant challenge, causing many events to be postponed or cancelled completely. In order to try and counter its effects, Cignpost has formed partnerships with elite sports companies to provide them with testing bubbles and keep their players safe as they play the sport they love. One of these is the DP World Tour. 

In July 2020 at the Betfred British Masters, Cignpost formed our first live testing bubble as the Tour restarted from its hiatus due to the pandemic. Since then, we have led the testing operation in over 21 countries across Europe and the Middle East, conducting 41,720 COVID-19 tests so far - and counting! – and allowing fans to continue enjoying the Tour over the last 18 months. 

Part of keeping the players at peak performance is to make sure that their crew is also looked after. We go behind the scenes to provide COVID-19 testing and other assistance to the support crew in order to keep the entire team in peak form. 

 In addition to regular COVID-19 testing, we are also helping the Tour in a number of alternative diagnostic areas, safeguarding player and crew health so the team can perform at its best. Having got all the players back onto the course at the start of the pandemic, we are now helping to keep them there.
