Cignpost launches new “Shining Knight” advertising campaign for the film and TV production industry

Leading Covid testing firm Cignpost Diagnostics today launches a new campaign that illustrates the role that the company has played in keeping the TV and film industry working during the pandemic.

Cignpost’s new campaign includes a thirty second advert video aimed at the TV, film and media production industries.  The advert features a medieval knight riding his horse emerging from the mist before showing him being tested by a ‘Covid-swabber’ standing on a stepladder. The advert is being filmed on a movie set with camera crew and director.  The campaign will run exclusively across social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit and Quora. It is designed to illustrate how it has been possible to create Covid-safe environments for actors, extras, and production crew. Cignpost’s testing capabilities have helped ensure TV and film productions have continued during the pandemic protecting thousands of jobs in the industry.

TV, film and media production was one of the many sectors initially brought to a complete halt at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. In response, Cignpost developed a mobile rapid testing service designed to enable TV and film production to resume in a safe way. Since then, Cignpost has supported over 200 TV and film productions that have featured on all major TV networks, including Netflix,  BBC and ITV.

Nick Markham, Co-Founder of Cignpost Diagnostics commented

“From the start of the pandemic, Cignpost worked with production partners to ensure the film and TV industry could keep working safely. We developed a way to test everyone on set rapidly with mobile testing units designed to deliver fast results from gold standard PCR tests. This advertising campaign is designed to illustrate how we have worked hard to create Covid-safe environments with some of the biggest global productions in every part of the world. With the recent emergence of the Omicron variant, we are determined to ensure we continue to help protect all those working on-set in the industry into 2022.”
