Government’s Production Restart Scheme ends

The Government’s Production Restart Scheme (PRS), which has been providing the TV and Film industry with COVID insurance throughout the pandemic, ended at the end of last month. The PRS supported 95,000 jobs, paying out over £53m to the industry during its run, and without it, the industry will be concerned about how best to protect their cast, crew, and support staff in the months ahead.

Research finds half of workers expect to be tested before returning to the office

People working from home remain worried about returning to work in the office, according to new research published today. According to a survey of over 2,000 workers by Yonder on behalf of Cignpost Diagnostics, almost 60% of those working from home think social distancing measures should be in place in offices and a similar number (58%) believe that wearing a mask indoors or in confined spaces should be mandatory. Almost half (48%) want to be tested before they return to the office.
